You can place an order in three ways: (1) Online via our Order Online page where you select your garment, fabric, and provide measurements. (2) By emailing us at shanieltailor@gmail.com with your requirements. (3) In person at our Hong Kong studio or during one of our worldwide city tours. We will guide you through the entire process.

Bespoke suits start from HK$6,800 for a two-piece. Three-piece suits from HK$7,800. Shirts from HK$2,200. Pricing varies by garment type and fabric choice. Premium fabrics such as Loro Piana and cashmere command a higher price. Contact us for a personalised quote including fabric selection.

Standard delivery takes 2–3 weeks from order confirmation including shipping time. Rush orders may be possible for an additional fee — please contact us to discuss. We always aim to exceed expectations on delivery time.

Changes to style, fabric, or measurements can be accommodated within 48 hours of placing the order, before cutting begins. Once the fabric is cut, significant changes are not possible. Contact us immediately if you need to make changes.

Yes. Every Shaniel garment includes 2 complimentary alterations if anything needs adjusting. If there is a manufacturing fault, we will remake the garment at no charge. We stand behind the quality of our work completely.

Visit our How to Measure page for a comprehensive step-by-step guide with 12 key measurements. We recommend having a helper take your measurements for accuracy. We need: chest, waist, seat, shoulders, back length, sleeve length, neck, wrist, inseam, outseam, rise, and thigh.

Every order includes 2 free alterations specifically to handle minor measurement discrepancies. We are experienced in working with mail order clients and our cutting method accounts for standard measurement variations. Most clients need no alterations at all.

Yes. After your first order, your measurements are stored securely in our system. Returning clients simply need to confirm their measurements (in case of any changes in size) and can then order additional garments much more quickly.

Absolutely. This is precisely where bespoke tailoring excels. Whether you have sloping shoulders, one shoulder higher than the other, a prominent posture, or unusual proportions — bespoke tailoring can address all of these. Please note any unusual features in the notes section of your order.

We stock fabrics from the world's finest mills including Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Dormeuil, Harrisons of Edinburgh, and Vitale Barberis Canonico. Our range includes wools, cashmeres, linens, cottons, tweeds, and blends. Visit our Fabrics page for the full selection.

Yes. We have access to hundreds of fabric rolls and can source specific fabrics from any of our partnered mills on request. If you have seen a fabric elsewhere or have a specific requirement, please contact us.

For an all-season business suit, we recommend a Super 120's or Super 130's worsted wool in a plain or subtle pattern. Navy, charcoal, and mid-grey are the most versatile colours. In warmer climates, a tropical weight wool (200–240g/m²) is preferable.

Yes, fabric swatches can be sent upon request for customers ordering overseas. Email us at shanieltailor@gmail.com with your requirements and we will arrange to send relevant swatches.

Yes. We ship to over 100 countries worldwide via tracked courier services. Shipping is included in the garment price for most destinations. For remote locations, an additional shipping surcharge may apply.

All garments are professionally pressed, covered in tissue paper, and placed in a suit bag before being carefully packed in a rigid shipping box. We take great care to ensure your garment arrives in perfect condition.

Yes. All garments are shipped fully insured for their replacement value. In the unlikely event of loss or damage during transit, you will be fully compensated.

International courier delivery typically takes 3–7 business days from dispatch. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel is collected. Express shipping options are available on request.

Visit our Overseas Trips page to see upcoming city tour dates. Each visit has a specific booking contact — either call the number listed or book through our website. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance as slots fill quickly.

A first fitting typically takes 45–60 minutes. This includes discussing your requirements, taking measurements, reviewing fabric options, and discussing style details. Subsequent fittings for returning clients take approximately 20–30 minutes.
